August 2010: Your local McDonald’s® owners are contributing $2 million to a cause that’s truly priceless: helping build two new Ronald® McDonald Houses in the Bay Area.
The Ronald McDonald Houses in the Bay Area have served more than 27,000 families, and continue to provide comfort and hope to families facing their worst nightmare- a seriously ill child. Demand has never been greater for this home-away-from-home for families of children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
The $2 million donation from your local McDonald’s owners will go directly toward building two new Ronald McDonald Houses in the Bay Area, and to supporting the Ronald McDonald House® of San Francisco and the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. Your local McDonald’s owners, along with the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Bay Area, have already donated $800,000 this year alone. They are long-standing supporters of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and its core programs, including the Ronald McDonald Houses, two Ronald McDonald dental Care Mobiles, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship program.
We’ll keep you updated on our donation milestones! Thank you for joining us in supporting the Ronald McDonald Houses of the Bay Area.
